Our Mission

What is Cita?
Cita (Christ is the Answer Ministries, Inc.) is an international evangelistic ministry. It can be compared in purpose to the Billy Graham Association or Cfan, the Ministry of Reinhard Bonnke. Cita has its own unique commission for the lost and does not strive to be a repetition of other ministries.

Who is the Leader?
Ev. Chris Franz is a leader whom God has enabled to reach tens of thousands for Christ. Large crowds find themselves captivated by his messages. It is not unusual for people to run to the front to give their lives to Christ.
Having grown up in Africa, Chris knows the needs of Africa . Chris is the son of Martin and Hilde Franz, missionaries who spent 39 years in Africa planting churches, building schools, establishing medical clinics and even constructing a water facility in the desert of north Kenya that provides pure water to a whole town, operating to this day. Chris was active in evangelism as a child. He started preaching at 16.
Chris has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Biblical Theology. He was an assistant pastor in Germany for three years. In 1996, he became senior pastor of the Free Pentecostal church in Buermoos , Austria . In 1999 Chris began full time crusade evangelism and moved to Kenya , Africa. Chris and his wife Simone have three daughters and now live in Sanford, Florda.

What does Cita do?
Our passion is to have Gospel campaigns in forgotten towns around the world. These are often either dangerous or very hard to get to.

Where does Cita work primarily?
Cita primarily reaches out to people that need Christ. We have ministered in many countries including; the United States , Europe, Ethiopia , Kenya , Democratic Republic of Congo, and Tanzania . The heart of Chris Franz beats for the lost.

What does Cita do to retain the harvest?
Cita has an intense training program for the Volunteers helping at the crusade events. We try to mobilize hundreds of workers that work as ushers, intercessors and as follow-up workers. At the crusades, Ev. Chris Franz invites those making a decision for Christ to the front. Many times hundreds come. The follow-up workers then fill out a decision card and give the newly saved a booklet to help him/her to grow in the Lord.
The decision cards are given to the local pastors of the town who then oversee the follow-up through the trained follow-up workers.
The average retention level of crusade ministries generally range from 2 - 6%. The best we have been able to achieve (through very hard work and the help of the Holy Spirit) is 25%!

Do you help the poor?
Yes! The number one passion of Chris Franz is to reach the lost. The word of God says in Proverbs 22:9 "A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor." James 1:27 says; "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Ev. Chris Franz believes, that showing the love of Christ in deeds of mercy is close to the heart of God. "Touch their needs and you will touch their hearts." We believe that it must underline our evangelistic outreach. We do not allow our mercy ministry to be a "gimmick" or tool to manipulate people comply to the Gospel. It must come out of a Godly heart of mercy for people.
