“Our passion is to win souls for Christ, by whatever manner we can,” Rev. Franz said. “We preach the full Gospel of salvation. During our crusade meetings, many are healed, delivered and baptized, or filled, with the Holy Spirit, but our principal emphasis is always to see people saved.”

He heard their cry and answered God’s call. Since founding Cita Ministries in 1998, Chris Franz has led more than 40 Gospel crusades in Africa, where more than 50,000 Africans have given their life to the Lord.  At a recent crusade in Ethiopia, more than 40,000 attended a single service.

And mightily, as a matter of fact! Chris Franz began preaching at age 16 in Africa. As the son of German Missionaries, Martin and Hilde Franz, who spent 39 years on the African continent planting churches, building schools and establishing medical clinics, Chris is all  too familiar with the plight and needs of the African people.

Rev. Chris Franz is one of those rare individuals who knew at an early age what God was calling him to do for the rest of his life. Chris admits he understood at age six or seven that “God was going to use me.”
